So, yep, I changed the name of my blog.
Okay, that *points right* is a hint.
I have reasons I need to change it, but I don't know if this one will stay. I need to see if I get used to it, if it resonates with me at all.
So why did I change it? For one thing, that other title, while true, was too long. To remember, to say, and for other people to post links to (nothing like hogging up three lines on someone else's blog...). For another, other than containing the word gravity, it had nothing to do with anything. Ok, neither does this one, really, although this one, like that one, does have something to do with a key story point in my debut YA novel, The Pull of Gravity. Even if, in this instance, only I know it.
So, here it is. This wee bit heap. What do you think?
I absolutely love the swimming fishies!
ReplyDeletethanks allison. the fish have been there since Day One. I know the woman designing my new website (who is going to make my blog match) is going to tell me to take them away, but I dont have the heart to do so. I've drawn the line at allowing myself to name them. They're happy here just swimming and doing their thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like it better if you'd let me read the book. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the NEW NAME. You did well, young lady!
ReplyDeletei meant more particularly than that, megan. the exact location of "That wee bit heap." It doesn't appear in my book.
ReplyDeleteoh, yay, Randy. I'm glad you think so. I'm off to read your blogpost.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely stands out, and is easier to remember! Nice pick :)
ReplyDeleteI agree- <3 the fish!
oh, yay, Kelsey. Coming from you that means the most, since you ARE my audience. :) Thanks. I'm considering it THE stamp of approval.
ReplyDeletewait, I thought I was your audience ??
ReplyDeletenope, not here. I mean, I'd love you to be an inadvertant audience, but this is my YA blog and Kelsey is a teen. AND she runs an awesome book review blog called The Book Scout. She ROX. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the new name, Gae!!
ReplyDeletethanks, Amy. I love it now, too. :)
